Wicklow Hills House – Modern Minimalist House Design in Dublin

This two storeys house sits on the foot of a steep escarpment in the Wicklow Hills. It can be accessed from Bray Road with vehicular or by foot. The modern minimalist house has a garage for two cars, boiler room, toilet and utility at ground floor level. At first floor level, there are open plan living, kitchen, dining areas with 3 bedrooms (master ensuite), study and family bathroom.

The house can be reached on foot at first floor level via a long stepped processional route to the front of the building. From the entrance, there is a hallway that will guide you to the open plan living kitchen and dining areas. These areas are hanging above the landscape with cantilever structure. Below, you will see the red columns forest from which you can reach the back garden and the terrace of the living room at first floor level. From inside the occupants will enjoy the view to the escarpment and foliage surrounded the house.
