Located in Norfolk, UK, Hudson Architects has designed the Cedar House. This prefab house is combination of the nature surroundings and modern technology as innovative design. This modern prefab design is clad in 15,000 natural cedar shingles (roof and all!) and wrapped in wide windows that welcome the view. There is a four-by-two-meter windows and expansive glazed doors that open onto a deck, the Wensum River flows through the North Elmham countryside. The living room and the large kitchen can be reached through the sliding doors. The house has two bedrooms and a guest room round out the sleeping quarters. To accommodate the homeowner’s labor of love that is photography, the house also has a dark room and studio.
