This is a renovation project of former house of an esteemed horticulturalist. The architect tried to preserving its original landscaping and relocating its main entrance. The entrance is a Torii gate; it navigated the guests over a stream and around a pond to the stone-terraced entry. The interior of the whole house is mostly done in natural wood and stone materials, also the interior walls. A communal space are gathering a farmhouse kitchen, dining room, and living room. It also an outdoor living room there. The house looks very natural because of the natural wood and stone in the interior yet exterior.
