Z-House – Modern Minimalist House in Gyeonggi-Do

As the name Z-House, this residential building has letter Z shape. This modern minimalist house is located at Gwangju Si, Gyeonggi-Do, where is 30Km away from center of Seoul. The house consists of two story building and 1story basement. Hohyun Park + Hyunjoo Kim Architects have designed this 189.64M2 building area on 805.00M2 site area. The house is built with RC structure and exterior finished with Black Zinc, Basalt, Red Cedar, Slate. While the interior finished with Paint, Cedar, Pine, Wenge Flooring, Wenge& Zebrano staircase, Slate. Shape of the building is planned to follow the space scenario and roof, which is covered by black zinc is wrapping around upper level mass and form a homogeneous and muscular shape.
