Contemporary House from Prefab Containers

Creativity is the key factor of this lovely modern house. The owner of this contemporary house, Keith Dewey, has built his house from eight used shipping containers. This three-story house sited on a residential lot, which is located by the ocean on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Canada.

An open dining room, living room space, and kitchen are placed on the main floor. The kitchen is free from upper cabinets or traditional sized fridge, and makes it possible to have wider counter space and storage.

The main floor connected to the basement and the upper floor with the stairs which has industrial chain link fence. The natural light flooded the entire of the house via skylights at the top of the stair case. There are a master bedroom and an office space on the upper floor.
