Contemporary House with Sustainable Design

This house belongs to a couple architects, located geographically in Gurgaon Haryana, India. Designed by DADA Partners, this house take an over 350 square meters of site with the upper floors as residential areas and a basement that houses a studio. There is a courtyard as the modifier climate and use as social gathering space. This court is an essential feature in the Indian architecture. The house is designed in modern style but still remains the traditional values; make the house appeals as contemporary house. Green vision of the architects is implemented in sustainable design of the house. For cooling the area of the house, there is natural ventilation supported by interconnected courtyard, solar water heating, large windows for natural light, and recyclable materials with wood and aluminum.
