This house is a cottage in San Francisco that was built in 1908. The new design is the extension for adding the third level onto the house. This new floor houses a Master Bedroom, Bathroom and Dressing Area with sweeping views of downtown San Francisco. Named Choy 1 Residence, this house has an exterior that speak the layers of time it has passed. The older shell has punched wood openings contrasted by the new metal window-walls. Cary Bernstein Architect has designed this contemporary house into spacious interiors with wonderful details of architecture elements. This old house becomes a modern house with good quality of aesthetics.
