The owners of the house are an interior designer and a modern abstract painter. The house location is on Sunset Hill, Seattle. It has vista toward Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula that is free from structural impediments with dramatic openings while the opposite side is more solid and private. This modern house but functional, applied concrete walls and steel frame dominantly. The upper floor and master suite is cradled by trellises and green roofs create a private and dramatic setting. Studio Ectypos has designed this house as well as the character of the dwellers that they will be comfort to live and work inside the house.
