Orchard East House Design in Chicago

This house design was born from the collaborative process of architectural and structural innovation. The Orchard East house consists of private space hovering above the fully transparent volume. This modern wonderful house designed by Wheeler Kearns Architects. The house built with vertical post-tensioned concrete thermal mass with forty foot cantilevers. The natural lighting was designed to come through floor to ceiling glass curtain wall and sliding door system. The climatic design has applied carefully in this modern house design.
