This house was built on the site which is surrounded by the green scene of mature trees in Bukit Timah, Singapore. This situation makes the house hidden away from the road. Wallflower Architecture + Design as the architects of the house have translated the owner’s desire to have a contemporary house with the priority in environmental coolness. The house was designed with the high consideration so the dwellers can enjoy the greatness of the tropical environment surround the house.
This two-level house has a comfortable programmatic zone which is developed with inverted planning and hierarchical norms common in local residential planning. A minimal spiral staircase within the entrance foyer connects the first floor to the second floor.
