The Tangga House Design in Singapore

The Tangga House is a contemporary house designed by Guz Architects. Actually, the project is a courtyard house which lay out around a central green courtyard with a double height stair and entry area forming the focal point of the project. The natural ventilation is encouraged by the L-shaped plan. This plan shape is also creating several views over the courtyard to the verandah, roof gardens and beyond for the dwellers. The house provides the high quality living in harmony and comfort with nature encountering the hot tropical climate of Singapore. The natural element of the house for example is applied on lushly planted roof gardens surround the house. Above the courtyard is the large roof creating an indoor and outdoor space leading to the gardens and swimming pool which wraps around two sides of the house.
