This house design becomes one of the most striking, sustainable houses in the Gaslight District of Manhattan Beach. Dubbed as Kuhlhaus 02, this eco house was designed by Los Angeles-based architecture firm LeanArch Architects . This contemporary house also featured as part of the American Institute of Architects’ 2009 Fall Home Tour.
Kuhlhaus 02 has 4,080 sq. ft. which designed in open concept plan. It has vast sliding glass doors. These doors become the access from indoors to the outdoor entertaining areas like a number patios and decks, designed with industrial-chic flair. This house design also considers the solar power, energy consumption, land-use and the environment.
