A striking 1955 home renovation achieved by Mitchell Weisberg was Elm House. There was a total living area of 2,069 square feet. It consisted of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The visitors were directed by a large courtyard towards the garage and the main house entrance. This could be a mid-century building, but nothing in its interior design betrays this fact. With floor to ceiling glass windows which provided exceptional views of the surrounding landscape, the interiors were highly modern. An open plan living room with a large socializing area, an all-equipped kitchen, a dining table and a contemporary fireplace was the core of the residence. An interesting contrast was made by the white traditional ceiling, with the design details below. The living room communicated with a generous outdoor terrace. It became a perfect place for a barbecue and/or friend gatherings.
