It becomes perfect vacation home for you, who leave the city to calm place. As its name, it is situated in coastal. Called Beached House, it is designed by BKK Architects. The form of this modern house looks like “origami”. Allowing connection between exterior and interior, the folding shapes makes volume of this building. The house design is contemporary design to determine the visual of the beach location as if the home has been washed ashore and anchored into the sandy terrain. As its exterior, the interior design is modern, minimalist, and functional. Recycled timber covers a floor surface inside the modern house, where an open-plan living room lead to a master bedroom on the east side of the house and four additional en suite rooms to the west. In the side of the bedroom, there is a long narrow swimming pool, so the inhabitant only steps straight out of the bed to the swimming pool. The elements and changes in wind patterns and solar orientation define the exterior. Providing shelter from the wind and sun at different times of the day, there are small, decked terraces, which are placed into corners around the building’s perimeter. Vertical ash panels and diagonally arranged zinc sheets clad in the timber-framed house. More detail see the picture
