Barry Alan Yoakum from Archimania has designed a house in Memphis, Tennessee on a pie-shaped site with views of the Mississippi River. The house consists of two components: a whit-brick cube and an elevated box. The cube aligns itself with the established street scape of row houses. The orientation of the box is unusual; it resists the grid in order to get the picturesque of beautiful river.

This space is designed as a creative live-work environment in the one of downtown L.A.’s existing warehouse buildings. Tighe Architecture has done the good work in this modern loft. The result is innovative design, cool, beautiful and contemporary. This 1,400-sq.-ft. space is very suit to modern people. The loft houses futuristic kitchen, bathroom, raised living area, and spa area. The living area is functioned as workstation by day and become a luxurious bedroom by night.
