With the trees in its surrounding, this house design which is located on a remote 10 acre site in Central Oregon consists of two simple cubes. The one box which is low & burrowed into earth purposed to be sleeping area. The other box is for living area, hanging at the treetop level, floating above. This position gives advantage for wonderful vistas. The materials which are covered the exterior of the house is durable and fire-proofed.

Barry Alan Yoakum from Archimania has designed a house in Memphis, Tennessee on a pie-shaped site with views of the Mississippi River. The house consists of two components: a whit-brick cube and an elevated box. The cube aligns itself with the established street scape of row houses. The orientation of the box is unusual; it resists the grid in order to get the picturesque of beautiful river.
