Are you young couple, who want a nice and small house? Let me introduce this very nice house. Phinney Modern, which is located in Seattle, is designed by Elemental Architecture . The challenging of this house design is small lot. Maximizing the use of courtyard or exterior, capturing the outdoor space is so important. This causes unusually placing of the living room and kitchen. The living room and kitchen are placed in the third floor and finished by a large rooftop terrace overlooking Lake Washington’s ship canal and the Puget Sound. There are glass doors, which open the kitchen out to a large balcony. A staircase leads up from here to a rooftop terrace. Bedrooms are in the first floor, while on the ground level, there are a utility room, office and garage.

About the interior design, I think, these interiors are very smart and perfect for young couple. When we see the interiors, they are not boring and look so fresh. The choices furniture and wall coverings are contrast. It may be inspiration and idea for you. Just enjoy the images.

Single Hauz was designed by Front Architects. A single house project that looked like a billboard that you could live in was The Single Hauz. Basically the house design was balancing on top of a pole, which could be driven into a lake, sea, or the side of a mountain. Basically anywhere having space, one of these houses could be put. Although the design was beautiful, but this small house was a nightmare (electricity, water, garbage, .. ) from an infrastructural perspective.
